I'm completely comfortable with a little chaos. My sessions are designed to move at your pace, with gentle guidance and plenty of space for real moments to unfold.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. When should we book with you?

I always recommend booking as soon as possible. My weekends book out quite far in advance, but always check as I may have space! For maternity sessions, I recommend booking in for around 28-34 weeks, allowing time for anything (early arrivals, weather reschedules and health etc)

2. when will we receive our images?

Full galleries are returned within 3 weeks of shoot date. When your gallery is ready, you will receive an email containing a link and password. All galleries remain private unless given permission for sharing.

3. What do you suggest we wear for our session?

This is your day! I am here to capture you feeling your best wearing what makes you happy.

But if you're looking for some quick guidance, I recommend trying to stick to a neutral colour palette, earthy tones, whites and denim. If you have any questions regarding your wardrobe choices before your session, please contact me, I am more than happy to chat as often as you feel before your photo date! I do have a client wardrobe available for maternity and newborn sessions.

4. How do your photo sessions work?

We will meet at a pre organised location (either somewhere you feel most at home, or one of my recommended locations. From there, it is simply time to be yourselves.

5. how can i be sure my children will sit still?

Simple answer? I don't want them to sit still!

My sessions are relaxed and fun filled with plenty of movement. The best images are often those in between moments. I have an intentionally candid approach where I will guide you for what's needed, but the real moments are what I capture.

6. how long do your sessions take?

I don't have a set time frame for family sessions, but generally these can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on location, size of your family and the type of session. I'll be guiding you through everything so it feels relaxed and unhurried.

7. Where will our session be?

Sessions can be held outdoors at a location you love, like the beach, open field, local park, the city or in the comfort of your home for a more documentary feel. If you don't have a specific location, answering some questions in my questionnaire will help let me know a style you're after and i can send through some locations that I know photograph beautifully.

I also have studio hire available, let me know if this is the type of style you're after

8. do you do mini sessions?

These are offered twice a year, booked for Mother's Day Mini's and Christmas Mini's. Specific dates are blocked out and these sessions are in studio and outdoors.
